The Royal Palm visitor center is located where Anhinga Trail and Gumbo Limbo trail begin. This is the first turn-off from the main road after you have pas=sed the entrance booth. You must stop here......where you will see the most wildlife. Anhinga Trail is a walk along water (fresh) and alligators and wading birds and anhingas and wood storks and many more critters can be seen, up close, very close, very very close! Gumbo limbo trail goes through a hardwood hammock. Both are must-sees!
